Episode 05: Navigating Entrepreneurship, Mental Health, and Rest with Karsen Murray

Listen + Subscribe on Apple Podcasts | Spotify

Karsen is bipolar business owner, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She's passionate about mental health, marketing, community-building and her personal favorite: celebrating the big and small things in life. By day you can find her helping small business owning gals market what they do like a pro and by night you can find her reading a good book in my bubble bath while sipping a glass of pink wine.

Karsen and I started out as Instagram friends and then became in real life friends from the first time we met – we got deep with each other quickly and we’ve been friends ever since! You’re going to love my conversation with Karsen as she shares about when and how she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and how her diagnosis has played into her role as an entrepreneur.  We also chat about how she started her business, Hype Gal; how to really find what you love vs. doing everything, the practices she uses to create rest and margin in her life, how being cute in your email subject lines is a no-no, and so much more!!

IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER:

  • Mental health

  • The best question to ask yourself when starting a business

  • How to better take care of ourselves

  • Cycle Syncing

  • All things email marketing
